Position Overview:
This position provides leadership to Client Services team members who are responsible for delivering high quality client service to support the effective delivery of credit and financial products and services to current and prospective clients.
The incumbent directly manages all team members within the assigned areas of responsibility.
Essential Functions:
Provides clear and timely communication and feedback to all team members on expectations and goals.
Aids in establishing and developing guidelines to ensure the team provides a consistent quality level of service, which is timely, thorough and responsive to all clients.
Hires, develops, motivates, coaches, evaluates, trains and rewards department team members.
Promotes a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals.
Assists leadership in defining team's goals.
Collaborates and partners with other teams to develop and nurture the team relationship model within assigned area of expertise.
Determines the impact of proposed operational and organizational changes and develops plans for optimizing efficiency and coordination of activity with other departments and functions within Compeer.
Coordinates and designates tasks to ensure reconciliation, reporting, corrections/adjustments are performed.
Monitors team specific reports.
Informs team and executes changes and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Determines and effectively communicates performance standards and development plans and assesses performance against standards.
Organizes and conducts team meetings and calls.
Approves team member time off timesheets and expense reports.
Regularly visits direct team member office locations and sets up consistent virtual touch base meetings to remain up-to-date on teams work.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in lending, compliance and underwriting in a financial institution.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership and management experience, preferred.
Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
Knowledge of farming operations and agriculture, along with basic accounting principles and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of credit, loan processing, loan servicing or loan closing in a financial lending environment.
Strategic and innovative.
Leadership skills to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead remote team members.
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
Ability and willingness to be innovative and strategic.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, customer relationship management (CRM) programs and client databases.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals, grow business and service all aspects of client needs.
Valid driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
